JUNIOR EAGLES PROGRAM
The Eagles Soccer Club is introducing a new program being offered to the community for the youngest of players, boys and girls, ages 6, 7, and 8 years old.
The Eagles Soccer Club and its staff have provided the select level professional soccer training in Upper Arlington for over fifteen years. During this span our staff has guided players on to win state championships in club soccer, play varsity high school soccer, play at the collegiate level, and even into the professional ranks! We will now start teaching the FUNdamentals to kids just getting introduced to the game at the recreational level. The benefits of learning the game earlier and getting the proper instruction in a small sided session format will help kids become better prepared for soccer in the years to come. It will also increase their soccer knowledge and enjoyment of the game.
The Junior Eagles Recreational Soccer Program will start in August and will register players now thru July 15th of 2008. Currently we have over 75 kids signed up! Under 6s: The Recreational Program for the u6s (6 year olds and older 5 year olds) is an eight week “in house” league with every event taking place at Upper Arlington City Parks. Cost will be $160 for the eight week session. There will be two sessions per week all managed in “Academy style,” small sided training and game formats. The season will start in mid-August 2008. We will also have a new signup period for the spring 2009 season following a similar format.
Under 7s and 8s: The season will begin in mid-August and conclude in early October. We will position the kids into actual teams and they will play an 8 game season in a local recreational league and of course receive quality training. All of the training and half of the games will be taking place at Upper Arlington City Parks. Cost will be $190 for the season.
