History

Eagles Soccer has been an influential name in youth soccer since 1989, when the first Eagles squad took the field. Though at the time of Eagle Soccer’s inception only one team bore the banner, the Eagles have since expanded to 55 competitive, specially selected teams from across the Central Ohio area. Youth of all ages 4 and over take part in Eagles soccer each and every season, with teams ranging from 4 to 19, competing in both boys and girls divisions.In 2009, the Eagles Soccer Club partnered with Ohio Premier Girls’ Soccer Club, among the most successful all-female youth soccer programs since its debut in 1993, resulting in a collective body known as the Ohio Premier Eagles and nearly doubling their total youth soccer capacity in terms of both teams and children.Though local and state wide championships are undoubtedly nice additions to the collective Eagles mantle, and not lacking in quantity either, the Eagles goal has and will continue to be to develop each individual player into the best all-around soccer play he or she can possibly be. This includes both play and sportsmanship on the field and character off the field. Through teamwork and a unique passion for soccer from both professional coaches and participating young people, the Eagles have produced a proud legacy and alumni network throughout Central Ohio. With coaches drawing from the highest level of collegiate, professional and international competition, the Eagles are among the best at what they do, imparting valuable and inimitable experiential lessons learned on the soccer field, preparing team members appropriately for their future soccer endeavors. And, of course, as with any youth athletic organization, it is of critical importance to make sure all players have a good time and don’t forget to focus on fun, with soccer providing a healthy and entertaining social outlet.Ohio Premier is maintains working partnerships with NIKE and OSU Sports Medicine and employs a staff that includes USFF “A” licensed professionals, ensuring the utmost quality in every aspect of competition.The Eagles Soccer Club is a not for profit organization, relying largely on fundraising, merchandise sales and contribution from satisfied player families and alumni as well as participation fees.
