Eagles soccer spans a variety of soccer leagues, each actively competing for top honors by fielding the most competitive and talented teams possible. Here is a brief look at the leagues the Eagles regularly take part in, facing other top teams from across the country.Elite Clubs National League The Elite Clubs National League is for girl’s soccer ages U-15 through U-18, offering developmental training in the highest levels of competition. ECNL member teams in the U-15 through U-17 age groups play 13 regular season games with a three game post-season, while the U-18 teams play 10 regular season games with highest finishing teams forming a field of 8 in the ECNL National Championship.Women’s Soccer Premier League The WPSL is a team-run and team focused league for amateur women’s soccer, each member team maintaining one vote in a democratic process. Teams play schedules ranging from 10-16 games, with a league championship tournament taking place in either late July or early August, varying by year. Women are eligible for play so long as they have maintained their amateur status. In addition to competitive play, the league also focuses on the role of women as role models in the community.Midwest Recreational League The MWL competes in 5 ages groups, from U-14 to U-18, including both boys and girls soccer. Structure is divided into a Premier Division, a First Division and Sub-Division groups, with Premier’s team pool determined by qualification tournaments. At the end of each season, top teams in the Premier Divisions of each age group qualify for a spot in the Region II Championships.Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League The BPYSL actually includes teams from not only Ohio but surrounding states, a boy’s and girl’s league bringing together the best competition from the surrounding region. All in all, the league offers more than 300 teams ranging in age from U-11 to U-19.The Premiere League With a focus on younger competitors, the TPL has offerings in age groups of U-11 through U-13 in both boy’s and girl’s divisions. TPL competition will qualify high finishing Ohio South area participants for the USYSA National Championship/State Cup, however other event hopefuls may still need to qualify by other means.Mid Ohio Select Soccer League – The MOSSL is an Ohio-centric league with divisions ranging by age from U-9 to U-14/ 15, offering boy’s and girl’s soccer. Seasons culminate in MOSSL Tournaments in late October, with U-9 through U-11 taking place the week before the U-12 through U-14/15 tournaments.
